Dear Common Europe Community,
As you are all too well aware, the coronavirus pandemic is impacting daily life in Europe on an unprecedented scale.
We have been monitoring the situation closely and feel that the subsequent effects of the pandemic will be felt for months to come. Common Europe’s aims and purpose is to provide education, training and activities on IBM Power Systems, IBM i, AIX and Linux. We also have a duty to ensure your health and safety when attending our events. Consequently, after carefully evaluating the current situation, we have decided to postpone our planned Congress in Montpellier in June, so we can fulfil our commitments to the Common Europe community fully in less exceptional circumstances. The Congress therefore has been rescheduled for 16-19 November. The venue stays the same, IBM Systems Center, Montpellier, France.
If you have already registered, you need not do anything, it will be valid for the new dates. If you have booked a hotel room for June, please contact the hotel to re-book new dates for November. Similarly, contact your airline or booking agent to postpone your travel arrangements to the new dates.
Please refer to our website or your email for updates. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We thank you for your trust in Common Europe and value your patience and understanding during these difficult times. We look forward to seeing you all in November.
