 Congress 2024 In Brief
3-6 June, Milan, Italy

Common Europe, in collaboration with FAQ400 (Italy), is delighted to be holding its annual flagship event, Common Europe Congress, in the fashionable city of Milan offering extensive education, networking and relaxation opportunities. It’s also a great opportunity for exploring the city… so why not take a family mini-break as well.

Congress education areas targeted are IBM Power hardware, Application Development, Advanced RPG, Open Source tools and Languages, System Management, Db2 and SQL,  IBM Storage, IBM i services and microservices, Security and Compliance and much more.

There will be two AIX / Linux tracks, to emphasize the Power Systems character of Common Europe.

Top IBM Business Architects and industry experts have already agreed to share their knowledge on the latest announcements, customer cases as well as practical subjects.

The congress content includes:

  1. 3 ½ days of latest education delivered by top IBM and industry leading speakers  punctuated by large breaks offering maximum networking,
  2. Three-hour in-depth workshops, 60 minutes’ education sessions and solution provider’s special slots,
  3. A Solution Providers’ Center open for 2 ½ days with top European and worldwide technology companies at their booths presenting innovative practical solutions that will enhance our solutions,
  4. A  Congress Dinner  in the hotel with live entertainment.

Congress Dinner

The buffet dinner is from 19:30 on Wednesday. We offer you a chance to eat, drink, be merry, network and be entertained throughout the evening by a selection of great music.
Where? In Europe, of course. Room ‘Europe’ just to be precise… just a few steps away from your hotel room so no need to worry about transport or getting lost on the way back.
Between your conversations and intake of refreshment, here are the artistes who will be entertaining you:

 Cesare Ceo & John Biancale

For a bit of sax in the city Cesare Ceo will be joined by singer John Biancale to bring us some classy renditions from their repertoire.

 

Nathalie Aarts is a Dutch singer / songwriter who now lives in Italy. She’s mostly known as the singer of The Soundlovers, for which she did the vocals on tracks such as “Run Away”, “People”, “Walking”, “Living In Your Head” and many others. She’ll be filling ‘Europe’ with her soaring voice.

 

…and if that’s not enough, you’ll have the chance to dance the night away to a ‘Back To The 90s’ DJ set.
