vCEC 2020

Practical Education of Immediate Use

Dear Common Europe Community,

In order to guarantee the safety and security of our participants, speakers and sponsors in this persistent COVID-19 pandemic period, the in-person Common Europe Congress 2020 is replaced by “vCEC 2020- Common Europe On-line” offering distance learning and extensive networking while maintaining the dates of 16-19 November.

Education areas targeted are – Application Development, Open Source, System Management, Db2 and SQL, ACS, AIX, Customer cases, end of the session Q&As, subject area experts panel discussions and culminating in an Ask the Experts session and Common Europe Congress 2021 announcement.

IBM Business Architects and industry experts will strongly focus on short sessions providing practical education of immediate use, workshops or deep dives on current topics that you can implement immediately and extensive networking giving you insights through panel discussions.

As the vCEC is in collaboration with Common France and Common Romandie, there is a full track in French in the “Education Day”.

In addition to the majority IBM i topics, there is a first – a full AIX track to emphasize the Power Systems character of Common Europe.

A special “Solutions Day” is dedicated to Customer Testimonials from our sponsors.

The sessions will be held during European afternoon timings allowing participants to still tend to their business in the morning and assign dedicated concentration to education in the later part of the day.

Please see agenda and other details below.
